Diet, work, family, exercise, self-care are all parts of you that need attention. How to keep a balanced perspective and give appropriate attention to each element of your life can be a challenge. It doesn't always flow naturally into place. Lets look at these elements individually.

Diet: The balanced view requires 80% healthy food and 20% treats. Now be truthful, how well are you maintaining a balanced approach to your eating habits?

Work: Are you a work-a-holic or do you not commit enough time, energy and motivation to your job? Reflect on this question and be honest. Are there any changes that you would like to make to your work habits that will give you a more fulfilling career?

Family: Are you living apart from your loved ones? If you are lucky enough to be all together do you spend quality time with each member of your family. Most people have to admit that there is a short fall on quality time.

Self-care: This means you! What about the occasional pamper in the Beauty Salon or the gym sauna? Exercise comes into self-care. Make sure you have that walk in the park or along the beach front. It all matters in the long run to the quality of your life style.

Life balance is about the quality of how you spend your time. Have fun, have a special time, decent sleep-plan your time to include all aspects of your life including time to reflect and make changes for the better. One step at a time, choose a focus point as a place to begin to re-balance your life plan. An easy, simple change can start you along the path to the next less simple step and so on.

An enhanced lifestyle is your goal. Being in balance gives you space to breath and enjoy all aspects of living.
