Work experience.

I have been in the helping profession for many years and have had a wide range of experiences. My experience has been mainly work with adults from all back grounds. Additionally some experience with teenagers and children, particularly mothers and babies.

As an artist I have always dabbled. A few years ago I had the opportunity to obtain a diploma in fine art and design specialising in Visual Communications and Film. My interest extended to the therapeutic side of art with some art therapy certificates. During this time I taught art to adults through a charity. I designed and ran my own course. I also worked with the art therapist and the music therapist in that charity.
I have presented a session in art psychology for a group of professional art therapist in London.
I have musical training, and played in a number of bands, orchestras and some solo performances in the past. At the present time I limit my playing to the recorder and compose my own music using 'garage band.’
